Stephanie Gatschet joined the cast of the Guiding Light on July 5, 2002 in the role of Tammy Winslow, a teenager struggling with the death of her father.

Stephanie Lucile Gatschet was born and raised in Philadelphia. As a child, Stephanie took ballet, piano, and acting lessons; she'd do anything to be in the spotlight. Her professional career began at the age of nine, when she appeared in her first play, Oedipus the King, at a local Philadelphia theatre. After performing in a few local plays, Stephanie began to appear in theatrical productions off-Broadway in New York. She also began to make commercials for television and radio, and to make episodic TV appearances in shows such as As the World Turns and Law and Order. During her first year of college at NYU Stephanie won roles in a few independent feature films like Roger Dodger and Virgin. Stephanie now plays the regular role of Tammy Winslow on Guiding Light, and continues her college education part-time at Marymount Manhattan College.
